For the active family, Dowse Orchards has a variety of plantings of trees where parents and children alike can “pick your own” without climbing a ladder.  Dowse crew member will gladly answer your questions in the orchards and assist you and your family in this enjoyable way to stock your home with the freshest apples.

CHOOSE ‘N’ CUT CHRISTMAS TREES

Since 1953, 15 acres of open land of the Dowse Farm provides seven varieties of Christmas trees.  During the beginning of December, you and your family are invited to roam among the endless sizes of live evergreens, select the tree which is perfect for your home and the Dowse crew will cut it down for you.  We also have a fine selection of premium precut Christmas trees and a wide assortment of Christmas decorating materials and flowers.
Bring the family for a day in our Christmas tree fields-free trailer rides to the fields, warm yourself around the campfire and chase the chill away with free hot mulled cider!
